Shawn Smith, Knight for Christ Ministry

Shawn Smith's BIO

Upon graduation from high school in Oklahoma, Shawn joined the United States Navy where he obtained a top-secret clearance in communications. Following the service, he attended Lewis University where he graduated with high honors and a B.A. in Criminal Social Justice. During his time at the University, he worked as a correctional officer at a maximum-security prison in the Midwest.

Reaching a personal career goal, Shawn began to do personal protection work as a licensed private investigator. The accumulation of several devastating life experiences ultimately drove Shawn to depression and the brink of suicide. Later, after examining his life and finding ways to bring himself back to mental and physical health, he felt compelled to write a book about all that he had learned to that point. Later, putting his life in God's hands, he stepped out in faith to self-publish his book and start the Knight for Christ Ministry.

Today, Shawn considers himself a modern-day knight whose goal is to help others find the same inner peace and happiness in life that he has discovered. His passion for ministry is derived from life experiences that have been documented with brutal honesty in his autobiography and self-help guide, Find Happiness!
