I think of praying at all times as living in continual God- consciousness, where everything we see and experience becomes a kind of prayer, lived in deep awareness of and surrender to our Heavenly Father. It is something I share with my Best Friend – something I instantly communicate with God.

The Bible Has the Answer by Henry M. Morris (see also Science and the Bible).
None of the ancient Jews and early Christians ever doubted the authenticity and historicity of the book of Jonah and its story. The 'great fish' may have been either a whale or a shark or even a fish specially prepared by the Lord for this purpose. Experiencing God - How to Life the Full Adventure of Knowing and Doing the Will of God, by Henry T. Blackaby & Claude V. King.
What happens when you pray? The Holy Spirit knows what God has 'in the garage.' It is already there. The Holy Spirit’s task is to get you to want it--to get you to ask for it. What will happen when you ask for things God already wants to give or do? You will always receive it. Why? Because you have asked according to the will of God. When God answers your prayer, He gets the glory and your faith is increased.

The Glory of Heaven - The Truth About Heaven, Angels and Eternal Life, by John F. MacArthur.
Scripture teaches clearly that heaven is a real place that can be seen and touched and inhabited by beings with material bodies. We affirm that truth unequivocally. Scripture promises that the moment you leave this life you go to heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” (Phil. 1:21-23).

The Holiness of God by R. C. Sproul. A profound, moving investigation of the character of God–His holiness–that defines all we are and do as Christians, and why people are both fascinated and terrified by a holy God.

How to Be a Christian Without being Annoying, by Bette Dowdell.
Christianity moves us beyond a religious philosophy into a relationship with God. God’s Spirit joins ours to become one. God shares our episodes of heavy lifting. God offers direction. And God sets the standards we need to live well. We are no longer alone.

How to Begin the Christian Life  by George Sweeting.
More happened when you received Christ than you ever realized. First, you received the forgiveness of sins. Second, you instantly became a member of the great family of God. Third, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit. Paul said, 'in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise' (Ephesians 1:13). This speaks of divine ownership.

  

How to Know God's Will - Divine Direction for the Road Map of Life, by Charles W. Shepson.
There are times when we are forced to make our own decision without some special direction from heaven. That should not unduly distress us.If God does not speak in some clearly discernible manner, we should use our own best judgment, after having had prayer for wisdom.

Knowing Scripture, by R. C. Sproul.
If you have read the whole Bible, you are in a small minority of Christian people. If you have studied the Bible, you are in an even smaller minority. Isn’t it amazing that almost every American has an opinion to offer about the Bible, and yet so few have really studied it? Sometimes it seems as thought the only people who take the time to study it are those with the sharpest axes to grind against it. Many people study it to find possible loopholes so they can get out from under the weight of its authority.

Many Infallible Proofs- Evidences for the Christian Faith, by Henry M. Morris (see also Science and the Bible, below).
No statement in the New Testament has to this date been refuted by an unquestioned find of science or history. This in itself is a unique testimony to the amazing accuracy and authenticity of the New Testament records.

Number in Scripture - Its Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance, by E. W. Bullinger. This book examines (1) the supernatural design of the Bible and the amazing patterns of numbers and numerical features of the Scriptures that give evidence of their Designer; and (2) the spiritual significance and symbolic connotations of numbers which are repeated in different contexts throughout the Bible.

One Minute After You Die – A Preview of Your Final Destination, by Erwin W. Lutzer.
One minute after you slip behind the parted curtain, you will either be enjoying a personal welcome from Christ or catching your first glimpse of gloom as you have never known it. Either way,your future will be irrevocably fixed, and eternally unchangeable.

Your Eternal Reward – Triumph and Tears at the Judgment Seat of Christ, by Erwin W. Lutzer.
If you are a believer, expect to hear your name when God’s last will and testament is opened. Thanks to Christ’s sacrifice for us, we are spared the eternal penalty for our sin; we will, however, be judged for our response to opportunities that were laid before us.

Science and the Bible by Henry Morris (see also Many Infallible Proofs, above).
There is, indeed, good and sufficient evidence of the truth of God’s word for all who are willing to consider it. The evidence can never be strong enough, however, to convince someone who is not willing to believe. If the evidence were so overwhelming as to compel one to believe it, there would be no room for faith, and God desires that we come to Him willingly, through His Son, in faith and love and gratitude.
